A เวิร์คช็อปผู้สมัคร Blessing was held on June 7–8, 2025 at the FFWPU headquarters (UCF Building) in Bangkok, gathering a total of 38 participants (17 second-generation and 21 first-generation members). The two-day program was organized by the Blessed Family Department of FFWPU Thailand with the goal of preparing candidates for the upcoming Blessing marriage ceremony through education, reflection, and spiritual rejuvenation.
Throughout the workshop, participants attended a series of lectures and interactive sessions covering topics such as Heavenly Parent’s ideal of creation and marriage, the human fall and change of lineage, and the significance of the Blessing in God’s providence. Another session focused on living a life of faith as a blessed family, emphasizing the importance of upholding heavenly tradition in daily life. On the second day, candidates also split into breakout groups for first-generation and second-generation participants to discuss the practical process of the Blessing, receiving guidance tailored to their backgrounds. The workshop concluded with a closing ceremony in which each participant received a certificate of completion, followed by a group photo to commemorate the event.
Participants’ Reflections
For many second-generation participants who grew up in the movement, the workshop was a valuable opportunity to reflect on their faith and commitments. “I feel very lucky to be born as a Second Generation,” shared Adisorn Ignacio, adding that the program “helped me realize what I should prepare for and what I can gain.” He gained new insight into the “traditions for blessed families,” which will guide what he does “for God, for love, and for True Parents.” Similarly, Chanaporn “Rie” Phipatanamongkol found that revisiting familiar content “from a broader perspective” this time made her realize her “understanding has changed.” She was grateful for the chance to join the workshop again and was “truly thankful to all the staff and everyone who gave the lectures.”
For the first-generation attendees, the experience reignited their spirit and determination. Sirilak “Mameow” Janton from Surin Church testified that the workshop “put the fire in me” and gave her “a strong determination to prepare for the Blessing and reset my heart.” She described it as “a good step for a new beginning” in her life of faith. Teeraphat Nopdophan from Seri Center also shared that the program “truly restored my heart and soul” after challenging missionary work, helping to answer his questions about his faith and readiness to receive God’s blessing. “Every word during the workshop touched my heart deeply,” he said, explaining that he learned how to overcome spiritual obstacles and “move [himself] to God’s side as quickly as possible in order to receive His blessings.”
In all, the Blessing Candidate Workshop proved to be a meaningful milestone for the participants – equipping them with deeper understanding, renewed faith, and clear resolve as they continue forward on their path toward the Blessing ceremony. The heartfelt reflections from attendees demonstrated that the two-day program successfully achieved its goal of internal preparation, leaving each candidate more inspired to uphold their faith traditions and ready to embark on the next chapter of their journey.
